Sam Houston National Forest located in Huntsville, Texas. It is one of the most beautiful places for a hike in Texas. You can hike 128 miles on the hiking trail that winds through the forest.

Sculpture Falls Hike – Barton Creek Greenbelt

It is heavily wooded and shady path hike in Texas. You can hike five miles on the narrow trail. It is one of the popular hiking trails.  This hike is long but easy. Eagle point trail- Caprock Canyons State Park

Gorman falls trail-Colorado Bend State Park

This hike is just over one mile and you can see a 65 feet high waterfalls in lush Texas vegetation. When visiting the Colorado Bend State Park you also visit the Gorman falls. Summit Trail – Enchanted Rock State Natural Area

Summit trail is another beautiful trail in Texas. Summit trail at enhanced rock have some caves as well as amazing stunning views of the surrounding Texas hill country. From the base to the top, this summit trail has 0.67 miles. Once you reach this trail, you can see the vernal pools.

Kirby Trail – Big Thicket National Preserve

This Kirby trail system includes the most beautiful views and placards. The Kirby trail system has an inner loop and outer loop. Inner look at 1.7 miles and the outer loop at 2.4 miles. Both trails have amazing views. It takes the hiker into the beautiful world.

Lighthouse Trail – Palo Duro Canyon

This trail is 5.75 miles through the Canyon. There is a bench at the end of the trail, where hikers can sit and take rest. It is one of the most famous trails in Texas.
